Donna Lamb

Donna Lamb is widely recognized as one of Kentucky’s foremost traditional musicians and luthiers (creators of stringed instruments). Her finely crafted instruments are featured in the Kentucky Folklife Program’s exhibit, Made To Be Played, which has toured throughout Kentucky. One of her handcrafted and richly decorated fiddles is on permanent exhibit in the Berea City Hall. Donna (along with her father, Lewis Lamb) is the coordinator of Jammin’ On The Porch, a weekly musical gathering in Berea. In 2013 she received the Homor Ledford Award for artistic excellence and dedication to Kentucky’s musical traditions.
