Lewis Lamb

Lewis Lamb is widely recognized as one of Kentucky’s foremost traditional musicians and luthiers (creators of stringed instruments). His finely crafted instruments are featured in the Kentucky Folklife Program’s exhibit, Made To Be Played, which has toured throughout Kentucky. One of his handcrafted and richly decorated fiddles is on permanent exhibit in the Berea City Hall.

Lewis is the coordinator of Jammin’ On The Porch, a weekly musical gathering in Berea. In 2013 he received the Homer Ledford Award for artistic excellence and dedication to Kentucky’s musical traditions.
