Dying to Meet Ewe

Whether you are adding color to fiber, fabric, or yarn, the same principles apply. Learn a bit of the science of dying as we create a fantastic hank of hand dyed yarn. Select either natural dyes (extracted from locally sourced plants) or acid dyes for more vibrant colors.

• Price: $35.00 (Includes one hank (approximately 245 yards) of soft wool yarn, all dyestuffs and use of equipment.)

• Age: 12 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult through the duration of the workshop. If the parent, legal guardian or authorized adult wishes to participate, they must also register for the workshop. • Class Size: 8 Max

• Take Home: One hank of beautiful hand-dyed yarn, sufficient for a complete crochet project (pattern included)

• Notes: This workshop takes place outside under a tent; dress for potentially very warm and / or wet weather. Please wear comfortable clothes that may get wet or stained in this workshop. Protective gloves are provided.
