Free Form 3-D Stained Glass Suncatcher
Workshop Instructor: Diane Gilliam

In this workshop participants will work with glass bevels, glass jewels, glass beads etc. to create a 3-D suncatcher. Participants will learn to cut glass, grind glass, wrap glass with copper foil and to solder glass and inclusions in layers. No two pieces will be alike due to the nature of the process. The included photo is just one example.

• Take Home: One completed free form 3-D stained glass suncatcher ready to hang (no two are alike).

• Notes: We will be working with glass and hot soldering irons, so safety will be stressed. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, long pants and closed toe shoes. Bring reading glasses if you need them for close work. If you have your own eye protection please bring it, if not safety glasses will be provided.
