Make Your Own Cutting Boards
Workshop Instructor: Steve Farmer

Learn basic skills of using a planer, joiner, band saw, router and sander. Instruction will also be given on how to glue up wood. Each participant will create three cutting boards of different sizes and patterns.

• Location: Bittersweet Studio - 241 Haiti Road (Workshop is not air conditioned so it may be warm, and is not handicap accessible.)

• Date/Time: July 14th, 21st OR 28th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM OR from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

• Break: NA

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $58.00 (Includes all materials, use of tools and equipment.)

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by one parent, legal guardian or authorized adult through the duration of the workshop. If the parent, legal guardian or authorized adult wishes to participate, they must also register for the workshop. • Take Home: Three original handcrafted cutting boards.

• Notes: For safety, please wear closed toe shoes - no open toe shoes allowed. Long hair must be tied back. Bring safety glasses and ear protectors if you have them, if not they will be provided for use.
