Stained Glass Suncatcher with Overlay

Participants will learn to frame a square piece of art glass with zinc came. Using a pattern, participants will cut a horse, sun, tree, cardinal or cat from a copper sheet and coat it with solder, and attach it as overlay.

• Take Home: One finished and framed stained glass suncatcher with either a horse, sun, tree, cardinal or cat overlay ready to hang.

• Notes: We will be working with glass and hot soldering irons, so safety will be stressed. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty, long pants and closed toe shoes. Bring reading glasses if you need them for close work. If you have your own eye protection please bring it, if not safety glasses will be provided.
