Woodturning: Vase/Candle Holder

Participants will receive individualized attention as they learn to turn wood on a lathe and create their own original woodturned candle holder(s) and / or vase(s). Note: the vase is not intended to be used with water, but rather to display dried flowers or weeds.

• Location: Bittersweet Studio - 241 Haiti Road (Workshop is not air conditioned so it may be warm, and is not handicap accessible.)

• Date/Time: July 14th, 21st OR 28th from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM; July 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th OR 29th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

• Break: NA

• Total Hours: 3 hours

• Price: $75.00 (Includes all materials, a dust mask, and use of an apron, safety glasses and tools.)

• Age: 18 & Up

• Difficulty: Beginner

• Class Size: 3 Max

• Take Home: One 9” cedar vase and one other item - students may choose either a vase or a candle holder.

• Notes: Please wear closed toe shoes - no open toe shoes allowed. Long hair must be tied back. Wear clothing appropriate for becoming dusty.
