Make Your Own Hardback Journal

Participants will learn traditional case binding techniques to create a blank journal. They will learn how to sew and glue a textblock, how to make a bookcloth, and how to assemble a book.

• Location: Two Trees Studio - 104 Forest Street (Please park off street/use the drive way.)

• Date/Time: July 26th, 28th OR 29th from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• Break: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (1.5 hours)

• Total Hours: 6 hours

• Price: $86.00 (Includes all materials and use of equipment.)

• Take Home: One finished hardback blank journal. It will be approximately 5” x 7” in size, with 160 pages.

• Notes: A selection of fabric for bookcloth will be available, but participants may provide their own fat quarter piece of 100% cotton.
