Embossed and Punched Jewelry
Workshop Instructor: Scott Mattingly

Participants will learn to use an embossing press to apply patterns and textures to copper or brass metal as well as shape and cut the metal, form or dome the pieces, and assemble complete pairs of beautiful earrings. Instruction will also be given to finish the earrings with different styles to choose from including shiny, matte or aged with a patina. Each person should leave class with at least 2 pairs of earrings.

• Age: 16 & Up (Participants under 18 MUST be accompanied by a participating parent, legal guardian or authorized adult due to the use of sharp tools, cutting metal, and use of hammers and metal punches.
